Re: 53 AM 60 rebuild

Hi

Thanks for sharing. Very interesting photos and great work. Please carry on and show us the complete process. The roller arrangement for the torch must really help, nice idea. Watching with interest.

Re: 23HF14

But best pack a few tools.....just in case. Oh and don't forget to check the wheel nuts after you have done the first few mil...

Too right! Don't forget the "Luxury R Clip Chain", to keep it all in order. Might even paint mine red!..... :D

Hi Fred

All very organised and great progress with the Disco. Sounds like a man who needs a Sankey Trailer project!

Re: 19HF27

Hi Bob

Mine has a small "R" clip on a chain, which goes through the bottom of the N/S hinge to stop it from sliding out when the tail gate is lowered. Mine is a 1983, does yours have the same?

Re: Brake Master Cylinder Overhaul

I would guess that the grove was there in the event of any of the piston seals leaking. The brake fluid could then drain out visibly and indicate to the operator that there was a problem. If this happened, the operator may have already noticed that the brake fluid level had dropped in the reservoir ...

Re: A pristine white Lightweight on eBay

Obviously, my opening sentence reference wheels, is reffering to the photo of the vehicle in B&W, and not the one at the start of the thread. Just to be clear. :D
