Gentleman and scholar..is there anything else you are short of? I have boxes of bits of all sorts of you are missing any parts.

I wasn’t going to tinker today, but then Howard mentioned he’d done a bit of painting and I was shamed into action. The tool box parts were given another scrub before painting liberally with the newly arrived tin of stripper. At intervals I brought them back inside for a rinse off, another scrub and then back out for another coat of nasty evil chemicals. This has now gone on for four hours, and the first couple of parts are in etch primer. The box itself needs another soak so I’ll tackle that tomorrow.

I just like pictures! (as well as checking that you are not catching up).

My wife laughed at the photo of the parts dangling from the light and said "is he separated or divorced?". The irony was not lost on me since 10 minutes earlier I had been told to move the Lightweight bonnet off the dining room table and back into the garage. It has since crept back onto the dining room table since this room is rarely used and there is more free space in there than in the garage.
