It has been back together for a while and I have been on a couple of 30 miles drives with no issues. Wrong time of year but I now need to put a couple of thousand miles on it to run the transfer box in before I do a major service.
The result is much quieter although it’s never going to be quiet like my car being a glorified tractor desk drivetrain. 🤣

On the 16th I have a space at work in our loading bay I can keep it under a cover. In the Spring I’ll make sure I go over the whole car looking for surface rust ok minor issues. I have noticed the start of rust on the Speedo bezel that I need to get a grip of due to being on a new old stock mint gauge. I guess you can’t stop it coming back like on the wheel nuts.
Thanks

Stu
