Hello and welcome to the forum, I'm afraid the only thing I know about ford's is that a sticky tappet on a 1.6 fusion can lead to the engine over heating to the point of it attempting to fuse into one solid lump. If you then use a large socket and big hammer it's possible to free said engine enough that it will run but not well. If you then drive to the closest scrap yard (at the top of a long and steep hill) there's a good chance of having to pick chunks of engine off the road, luckily however you will have used up all your oil long before then.

Many would argue that I don't know much more about landrovers, luckily the forum is full of people who do know loads and can always help you out
