Head light rings
Read with interest Tony aka the welding wood on Facebook has successfully made some headlight rings. They look top notch as does all his work. £50 plus some postage but by the requests he’s getting there’ll be a waiting list.

I ordered a pair of rings from Welding Wood.
As Bob had rightly noticed, the parts are missing on my LWT.
I will keep you informed of this piece and its ability to be installed.

As seen before.
Received today my order for the headligts rings.
Very serious packaging and remarkable quality of manufacture and finish.
The exchanges with Mrs Liz Wood were charming, full of confidence for the € Vs £ exchange and the satisfactory follow-up.
Installation "blank" before painting and I will keep you informed.
For mainlanders: beware of additional import taxes…!

LouLou, can’t wait to see some photos of them installed.
When you read the Welding woods posts on Facebook and see his abilities his work is always excellent. I’ve only had the front panel repair pieces from them but I was impressed.
I second your for import taxes now for us buying from the “mainland”. I used to buy some automotive engine parts from Europe as they were cheaper, but not now.

Tony’s a really nice guy. Met him last year as I dropped off 4 old defender doors for him to rebuild / repair. No hurry for them but I know he’ll do a good job & I’m looking to ‘future proof’ the old lump.

So installation "blank" and everything is assembled very correctly.
The internal diameter of each ring corresponds exactly to the external diameter of the rings locking the headlight optics.
I showed the pieces to an insider friend who admires the work done.
I will soon make a request on the forum for an explanation for the fixing of these rings on the headlight assembly system.
