Lightweight Number plate sizes ??
Lightweight Number plate sizes ??
So I was just ordering two new number plates and I’ve been asked what size I’d like them ? Any idea I assumed they’d all be the same but apparently that’s not the case

Re: Lightweight Number plate sizes ??
Well, they are standard size plates: 520x111mm with lettering 79x14mm. I expect your supplier wanted to know whether you needed a square plate for the rear as most Land Rovers would have.
Re: Lightweight Number plate sizes ??
Front standard rear depends where it’s going, mine is same as front cos it’s on the hinged panel that drops down.
Think if it’s going on the rear of the tub it’s a funny size?

I don't like the standard size plate and think it looks wrong squeezed on the panel. Had this motorcycle plate made up. Much better looking.

Hi Keith. Your Lightweight's still looking good. Done anything interesting with it lately?

Good evening Fred and other forum members.
I hope all are well and healthy and getting the usual satisfaction from LWT Maintanance and fettling.
The pic shows ‘Berty’ under the made to measure RRC cosy cover. It’s been there for 2yrs now and I’m gutted I don’t have a garage as before. I was 95% project finished and only a few jobs to button up. Runs great, and won first place at last yrs BVAC classic show. Clean oil, filters and plugs keep it running healthy.
Good to chat on the LWT forum again.
