Hello everyone,

It’s been a while since my last update… unfortunately, due to work commitments, the restoration of my Land Rover has been delayed quite a bit and it’s been somewhat left to one side. The fact that I live 300 km away from where the vehicle is kept certainly doesn’t help!

However, I’m hoping that during the upcoming winter holidays, I’ll be able to make significant progress on the project. I’ve attached a few photos of the freshly painted chassis and the fully restored and running engine.

I hope to be able to update you more frequently in the future, as that would mean the work is moving along faster haha!

If you're interested, I’ve also created a little amateur Instagram page where I post some of the stages of the restoration: land_rover_lightweight_italia

Hello,
It's like a tough job, but it can be done with time! Check the VIN and military plates for more info, and try using some oil to loosen stuck parts.

Hi Filippo,

Life and work does have a habit of getting in the way, but good to see you've got a bit more done. It's more progress than I've been able to make, and mine is in the garage next to the house.
