Heater 'end piece' with 'door flap'
Heater 'end piece' with 'door flap'
Looking for just (!) the end piece of the heater box including the door flap. I have everything else but those two parts. Thanks.

Re: Heater 'end piece' with 'door flap'
I got a pair in excellent condition - and they were given to me for free. Thanks Matt!
Re: Heater 'end piece' with 'door flap'
Glad to hear you have sourced a pair. I couldn't find any for sale on their own, the only ones I saw at the time came with the rest of the crusty heater attached.

Re: Heater 'end piece' with 'door flap'
I think Emberton Imperial do the actual handles:

Unfortunately I sold the remnants of one of my flat heaters to somebody in France during Covid, but I'll have a look - I might have a door, but not sure about the whole end piece. Are they handed does anybody know? I can't remember!

The end pieces and flaps are handed. I got my replacement handles from Emberton's, I can't presently remember where I got the flap springs from. But, it was via ebay. I have got it written down somewhere.

D'oh - of course they are handed. If not, one would vent to the bulkhead. Didn't occur to me!
Which side is needed?

Re: Heater 'end piece' with 'door flap'
I've got both sides now. Next job, fit the heater back together again!
Re: Heater 'end piece' with 'door flap'
Afternoon all,
I got the springs for my heater from ebay
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/295517903097 ... SwdpxUXe3b
They still sell them which is nice to see.
Cheers,
Chris

Re: Heater 'end piece' with 'door flap'
Hi Chris,
That's where I got them from, I just couldn't get the memory cogs meshed. They've gone up in price since I got mine, (What hasn't increased in price though?), as I paid £7 including delivery. But, it was a couple of years ago.
