Hiya Bob! :D ,

I saw that on waltbay the other day. I think the first time I saw it was in the flesh on Nene Overland's stand at Peterborough. (The year I bought the NOS IIA vent panel from them for £200 and promptly sold it to Rob, Hiya Rob! :D , for the same price five minutes later. Saw myself right off there. )

IIRC it was sporting the VRN of 23 HF 83 at the time, and I remember taking a few pics of it on my phone.

Again, IIRC, it hung around on the bay, and kept reappearing for about £4.5k for ages before it was sold. It doesn't appear to have changed much since then.

I found a couple of pics of it, probably stolen off the web, on my hard drive. I believe in the pics it is sat in Nene's tyre store.

That was a good find getting a photo.

The chassis no. is given as 95105*** the main MERLIN archive reveals it as 95105273A

As it's parked up in a shed with two ambulances, I'm going to jokingly guess at it being a emergency fast response vehicle. More of a chance of that, than it being a Recce.

Mmmm? Interesting?

It made it up to £7k before that bid was pulled, when it dropped to just over £5k. Just checked on it again and it says the listing was ended with no bids. Bid history shows a retracted bid of £7k, and a cancelled bid of £2.5k, but all the other bids that were on it aren't shown.

Hiya Bob! :D ,

I checked earlier this week out of curiosity, but have only just remembered to post it up.

It appears that an MOT pass certificate, (with advisories), was issued for this vehicle on the 16th November, and a new V5 was issued on the 7th December. So I guess it did sell.

I wonder how much it did go for?
