After all my good intentions, I got nothing done and the old girl has sat doing nothing but rust.
I'm now in a position to think about resurrecting the rebuild.
Once I get home from work I'll be looking to order a new galvanised chassis. (They've gone up a bit have they not?) Richards Chassis £2450 inc VAT (and christ knows how much for delivery)
Anyone know of any other sources for chassis?

I spoke to these guys today after spotting a Series chassis on their stand at Billing, a Lightweight rear crossmember on a display bench, and the name Marsland Chassis on their signage.

They are up and running with production of the Marsland SWB Series chassis range again, This does include the Lightweight chassis with twin relay holes, a removeable gearbox crossmember, and a fuel tank outrigger on the passenger side as you would expect there too be. The Series chassis range are all priced at £2400 delivered. (I asked costings, as I read your post this morning before leaving for the showground.)
I fitted a Marsland chassis to my lightweight in 1997 and its still going strong, and the standard of work on the chassis they had on display was excellent.
(As an aside, part of the conversation revealed that despite the lockdown setting them back with production of the Series chassis, the 109" chassis should appear soon, and their aim is to produce all the chassis variants available from Series 1 onwards. They still have the jigs for WOLF from when they took over the production of them from GKN, and I was trying to convince him to produce these too.)
It's nice to think that there will be a choice of supplier out there again.
It might be worth your time giving them a call, or dropping them an email, and discusing your requirements.

If anything is likely to put you off, it could be the Richards Chassis lead time. I've got a TD5 110 chassis on order and I think we are looking at 4 months...
Marsland quoted me delivery of a 2A 88" chassis recently with a lead time of 3 weeks.
