Wiper motor

Post by Grumpy » Fri Dec 04, 2020 4:12 pm

Looking at replacing the wiper motor. Any suggestions as to who to go to?
The good book says part number is 75664A if I am correct. None of the numbers on the rear of my motor match this??

Something to bear in mind. I once bought a military replacement motor in its original sealed packaging, but it was provided without gears. So watch out if you were expecting new gears as well. No doubt there are complete motors available as well.

I don't recognise that number, so you must have a less than good book!

RTC3867 for a 12v one and AAU6238 for a 24V one. And Clive is correct, this will not include the gears etc. Try LR Series, they have Britpart ones for £32 plus the usual. https://www.lrseries.com/index.php?rout ... ch=rtc3867

I believe that 75664A is the Lucas part number, and as mentioned does not come with the internal gearwheel/arm. RTC3867 is, as quoted by Fred, (Hiya Fred! :D ), the correct Land Rover part number for a 12v wiper motor.

Thanks again gents.
I got that number from the illustrated parts guide, couldn’t match any of the numbers on the rear of mine with anything. They were all one or two numbers out.
