Hi Graham..just a bit of info that might help you (or not) The handbrake lever.....looks to me like its a tad too low in the slot..if it hits the bottom of the slot you need to loosen the 2x 9/16ths bolts/nuts that holds the H/B bracket onto the chassis..there is a fair bit of movement to be had in the vertical which will bring the whole lever assembly upwards thus stopping the lever from fouling the slot in the seat base & also prelonging the life expectancy of the (now less) pulled rubber gaiter.

Spot on with that yes it is resting on the gator when in the off position so will have a look at that ;)
