Re: tub side panels
Yes, you did see a discussion about replacement panels - look at AR4412's (Neil's) thread on "55HG98 Para Recce Rebuild" page 68.

Re: tub side panels
Hi Dave,
Annoyingly I cannot find the drawings I did of the panel for Yorkie at present. I know one of the ones I did do were only of the lower part of the panel that you can see, and didn't include the return folds by the door striker as Yorkie didn't need these included for his project build. I can re-do a drawing for you if you wish as I still have the old panel I took off the Recce's tub.
Is the damage to your panel just the crease in it that is visible or has it cracked at the top fold line, or where it meets the tub seatback panel? If it's just the crease it should knock out with a hammer and dolly. If it's cracked it might be worth attempting a repair by bonding on a strengthening plate on the inside.
Let me know if you would like me to measure up my old panel for you to make one mate.
Regards,

Re: tub side panels
Thanks for the reply Guys. Yeah they are both creased, but not cracked. So could repair, but if you could re measure etc Neil. That would be appreciated.
Apologies for late reply. D.,

Re: tub side panels
Hi Dave,
I dug the old side panel out once I'd finished playing today, so I'll take in into work with me and make a start on measuring it up for you.

Re: tub side panels
Hi Neil
I would also appreciate the details as these are the last bits I need to have made for my tub.
Just this afternoon I realised I can't find the old ones which I needed to take measurements off.
Thanks
Stu

Re: tub side panels
Hi Stu,
No problem. My panels a bit battered, but between that and the lightweight we have at work I should be able to sort out a workable set of dimentions.
Yesterday was too manic, but I managed to get some measuring done today. I'll let you guys know when I've completed the drawings and will probably email them to you if that's okay?

Re: tub side panels
I have a pair of new panels. No idea who or where they were made. Sorry but they're not for sale, but could measure them if needed?
