Snow day!!!!

Post by Tinweasel » Fri Jan 18, 2013 2:02 pm

Ok really speaking the snow isn't too bad around here, I am getting about just fine in my euro box, but Sarah got sent home at 10 this morning and all the local schools are shut. However I have to stay at work for my normal hours even though I have a 40 mile drive home tonight!

So who has been able to wangle a day off, sent home or just could not get in to work today?

It dropped three odd inches of the white stuff at Woodbridge last night, still had to be in as normal. Luckily it's only a five minute walk from my room in the Sergeants' Mess to the Workshop. :D It was -8 on the walk in at 07:45 yesterday and Wednesday, Nice!

Drove home the 100 miles with no problems today, apart from the washer jets freezing up again. (I feel a heated washer Mod coming on!) Only got a light dusting of snow here at home. :(

Just a few inches here in Bradford, but the main roads are clear,

It's forecast a fair bit tommorow/Sunday. Could do without it though moving house this weekend

Hi to all,

Just a very slight dusting here in the Hub Of The Universe, a good wind will blow it all away.

Regards, Norman.

You beat me to it Norm.

More pics please Stuey, I love the Berlin Brigade camouflage scheme. 8-) Years ago before my lightweight went down the hybrid route when a new chassis was required, I toyed with the idea of painting mine in that scheme.

The black dots on white looks at home in this weather we're having. :D

Guys thanks for the replies, sorry I haven't got any more pictures of the Berlin Brigade Lightweight other than those in the album from yesterday.

If you're interested it's one of the guys over on OLLR and is a regular at LATP (hint hint :D)
