Going back to std springs

Hi guys
1970 civy 2a 88" fitted with Parabolic springs but looking at going back to std multi leaf springs to carry the weight better ( roof tent fitted inc, rear boarded out and camping gear in the rear )
can anyone tell me if they have done this and is it any better please

I'm sure others will be along to comment as there are other threads on here about the merits of original springs v parabolics but I'll also have to bite the bullet on this soon. Mine had parabolics on when I bought it, but they've now settled unevenly to the point where the nearside front sits well over 2" lower than the offside. Apparently Jones springs in Birmingham is the place but there's a bit of a lead time as they make them to order.....So plan ahead!

I got Jones springs for my lightweight so I could carry weight without worrying about it, They are great quality springs

Yeah i plan to fit GME springs but only had thier Parabolic springs never had thier multi leaf springs, the last S2a 88" i had i couldn't fault them but with this one the backs started to sag well before i decided to fit everything so hopfully they should do the job
