watch out for rear bench seats if fitted, the retaining bolt may prevent the tool box fitting neatly underneath, I had to put a neat hole in the top of my toolbox to allow.

The toolbox fixing screws have a washer and locknut on the underside of the wheel arch,this also acts as a spacer for the bench seat captive plate.

..While we are on the subject - what does the bench seat captive plate look like?

I don't think mine has them, but i'll be fitting bench seats so need to know how to fit them safely (as well a the toolbox)

Right so I've not been around for a good while but back at it! Started some work on the windscreen breaking it down ready to clean up!

Cleaning up the seat bases I'm undecided what to do with them yet I may galv or spray them up! I add this one in the picture required hardly any work! The other two were cover in old paint

Could anyone tell me if there's a difference between a series 3 windscreen and a series 3 lightweight windscreen! They look slightly different but I'm not sure how it would fit ? Cheers

Managed to clean the fly screens up tonight and get some undercoat on them

Hi Stu yeah I'd love to get it ready for summer next year that's my aim anyway! Still got a lot to buy!
