We took the s3 out for a go on a local green lane, had a blast.
Saw another lightweight on the way home and had to stop for a picture.
Lovely vehicle, looked like it was recently done up.

How was your green landing, did you get stuck? I’ve only done it once and it was really overgrown and boggy. Luckily it was in my mates series which is way more beaten up than mine.

It was a very short route but I had an absolute blast. Nothing like getting stuck or anything, tackled the steep bits no problem.
Cannot wait to go again!

That looks an interesting set up. I'd be interested to hear how it runs driveability wise compared to when it was on the carb set up, and how the MPG, or the Km/L as it is over the water, has changed once you've had a few miles usage to work it out.

Regards,

Brought mine home from storage yesterday. The long layover didn't do it any good.

It started easily and ticked over nicely, but on first driving it ran with a bad missfire (like a blocked jet/faulty accelerator pump). It did this for the first 2-3 miles then cleared itself and ran fine the rest of the way home.

I noticed a couple of lighting anomilies which I checked out once home. The headlights and tail lights weren't working, but the front sidelights were. In addition, switching to ST/HST caused the indicators and brake lights to stop functioning. This, of course, should only happen in the Conv. position

Today, I did a bit of fault finding and discovered the light switch is playing up. Still no headlights/tail lights, but could make the indicators work by wigling the switch in the ST/HST positions.

Did some other checking of electrical systems and wiring, including some PO additions. I need to research a later wiring diagram as there appear to be extra (original) wires and one or two different wiring colours from the diagram I am using (courtesy of the L/R S2 Club).
