Had another trip to the tip to get rid of the mountain of ivy I removed from the wall.

I even swept the worst out of the back to look a bit more presentable for Saturday's trip to Gaydon (I'm only in the car park but I do have some standards!).

Even in this weather, the flying jacket, leather hat and goggles are mandatory however as it's freezing!

That's a lovely looking motor.

They do look well stripped down in the sun that's for sure.

I really need to source or have made one of those rails for inertia seat belts.

I think Rob was looking into getting them made but no word lately unless I've missed it.

I'm (NATO) green with envy.

On it mate, sorry it's taking longer than expected. 50th has slowed everything down a little.

Good to know your still on it.

Tbh, the time I'm taking to get started my ground up rebuild, you could probably take another two years and still be in time for my build.

If and when they're available I'll be having one.

That is a seriously nice Land Rover. I too intend to keep mine stripped down as much as I can, but, being in Wales, I don't suppose it will be as often as you!

Took the 2a lightweight for its final MOT which it passed with no advisories ! 810 miles covered since rebuild 12 months ago . Fitted 50th anniversary plaque to front grill so she is now ready for Overlord show !
