Trying to motivate myself! Think these door rubbers and the vent rubbers are wrong 🤷🏻‍♂️ I really need to stop buying the wrong parts 😂 any ideas which of these fits to the bonnet ??

For the Lightweight, you don't need the large bonnet spare-wheel mount - just the hoop bracket and spreader for underneath the bonnet. But, that's not why I'm writing - I'm writing to say that your vehicle is looking simply superb - and that V8 engine will sound wonderful. You're doing a great job. And the convoy light is absolutely fine - ignore the critics - they probably don't understand...

Thanks a lot Fred, I think the Mrs is had enough of me talking about it 😂 I’m not sure what a spreader is ? Do you have a part no. So the disk isn’t for the lightweight.. looks like someone had fitted it! I’ll give it to an old boy down the road he’s working on an old series 3

I don't know what the "spreader" is actually called. It's just a simple strip which goes underneath the bonnet and is held in place by the two nuts on the ends of the "hoop. You can just make it out in this photo - it is black against the galv of the hoop.

Then, from the top it should look simply like this:

I managed to find one of those staples on eBay for 5 quid! Do you have bushes on your bonnet hinges ?
