Good evening.A simple question I hope but my internet searches have drawn a blank.
My 1979 12v model flasher unit (as above) needs to be replaced but it doesn’t appear to be available anymore.
Have Durite replaced this with another unit or is there a perfectly acceptable alternative product that is available?
Apologies if this is boringly simple but it is beyond my electric knowledge
Cheers
Nicholas

Hi Nicholas,
Welcome to the forum.
Versions of this flasher unit are available if you cannot find a Durite 'Black Box' version, as are originals in the metal case. Emberton Imperial on ebay do a version, have a search under part number 579373.
Regards,

By way of update the alternative product isn’t available on EBay but Durite emailed me to say 0-744-0 can be used I have ordered it so will see if they are right.

It looks like the contacts are the same so it should hopefully do the job.

Remember seeing online item about the Lightweight Hella flasher unit, which pointed out that many can be repaired after carefully loosening the tabs to get to the inside?
