So welded the gear box tunnel in place and as you can see I’ve cut up the passenger footwell and welded the piece back in.. I’ll get another picture

Re: lightweight v8 project
Started rebuilding the new tub, the supports for the seat bulkhead to get in place… after much deliberation my upper pieces of the tub I’m going to fully replace! They are so badly warped in an attempt to salvage them (after previous owner had cut up in attempt to make a fuel filler neck!

Re: lightweight v8 project
Good to see you're back on the project. Life does have a habit of getting in the way of them at times.

Sure does good to be back on it
Re: lightweight v8 project
So I’ve been trying to get round this for a while with no joy and I’ve got to bite the bullet and get a 2A windscreen. The upperbulkhead I only paid 200 quid for many years ago was off a 2A and required minimal repair. It’s only now I’ve realised the old 3 series windscreen has to go and be replaced… It annoys me that back when I had less money I didn’t buy a series 3 bulkhead but it tells the tale of the journey I suppose.

Re: lightweight v8 project
A lot of work done here on the tub! I replaced the upper parts of the tub with new ones I managed to get from a guy I messaged on eBay from Petersfield…. Fill and fiberglassed some of the random holes on the old tub panels, fingers crossed I can get it into paint and primer next week. This landy will be finished this year
