Hey Clive,
You have a way of searching for images based on the plate number?
How do I do this for mine?
Thanks

This is the nearest in service photo I've got to yours.

I just have accumulated a lot of pics over the years, there is no special web source I'm afraid.

What is your ERM & I'll have a look?

Thanks for the welcome.

I'm going to start posting questions about reinstating the complete wiring harness. At the moment I am running up the engine only on a temporary switch to the starter and a crocodile clip holding the punp wire on the battery.

At present, that is the sum total of an electrical curcuit in the vehicle.

I will post under a different topic, probably titled "Reinstating wiring with TDI conversion." I will also have a look through previous posts to avoid any duplication if I can.

Another post will be "Getting rid of a Q plate". This one will need some swift work if I am not to be lumbered with it.

Thanks.

Oh yes please.

So much better to see the real thing especially when interpreting abbreviations to see them in context. Sometimes other little details come to light that might not seem important at a first glance.

[img[/img]I thought I would just slide in a few pictures of my new Lightweight project as it stands besides our current other project. I decided to fit chrome light rims instead of trying to source reasonable period correct ones. Just one popped on at the moment.
I need the missing fly screens but think beyond those and a heater; it will be complete once I get the new wiring harness in. At the moment it runs on just two wires twisted together and held onto the battery with a peg. Its one step up from the bale twine used as a hand throttle through the bulkhead.

Still more questions coming, so look out for those in other areas. I think I will also be fitting a standard rear door instead of again trying to get hold of a decent cat flap.

I have yet to poke around on this forum to see if there is a "Gallery" I should be posting picture in. I dont host any elsewhere.
