Hello Gentlemen,

Thank you for your encouragement and your appreciations.

Indeed, it's been quite a few years now. I have to do as much as possible, after the physical will no longer follow, you see yourself at 70 going under the LWT to change a differential… ?

Good day to you all.
Regards.

Hello Gentlemen,

It is with pleasure and a touch of peace that I can tell you how well the brakes work.
After a gross connection error between the master vac and the PDWA  , everything is back to normal 8-) .
Today with "violent" braking I block the front wheels and the LWT plunges its nose; conventional braking (ie the usual slowing down…) is satisfactory.
On the other hand, in the event of a "violent" braking the rear wheels do not block, perhaps a break-in to be expected and an installation of the various components is to be imagined…?

I know you are visual fans, below are two photos of Looloo, to celebrate the event.

Quite a bit of work to be done in the coming weeks, including the construction of a replica of the inertia seat belt support arch. Therefore, nothing to be bored.

I wish you a pleasant Sunday
Regards

What a beauty. Superb restoration. Better than it rolled off the factory floor.

Hello Gentlemen,

Good news: The brake concerns are on the way to being resolved. You will find the cause in the "Problem / Solutions" section; a ridiculous tinkering too often ...

As a result, the work is restarted promptly:
- Bleeding the brake circuit (another one…, I spent at least 2 liters there…)
- Manufacture of a replica of the inertia belt anchor hoop to which I will also attach the generator panel and the shunt box
- Manufacture of replica of the rear antenna support
- Manufacture of a "credible" box for the two batteries
- Reassembly of the top of the door rebuilt with new gaskets
- Two pages of odds and ends to check-check ...
- Installation of the new tarpaulin
- A big diplomatic kiss to my French MoT

And roll a little car ...

Regards

Hello Gentlemen,

Some news of the work in progress, without photos for lack of time.

All four drum retarders are now functioning properly. After installing a new master cylinder and a long bleeding of the brake system, especially at the front where there was more air than hydraulics, my LWT stopped satisfactorily.
With more than 140km on the clock to date, we will once again adjust the brake shoes even more finely since they are now well paired with the drums.

As previously indicated, the other works start next week with I hope some photos.

Have a good Sunday everyone.
Hey… the weather is nice here today, amazing…

Regards.
