SLR mounting clips
Hiya!
I am after a pair (ideally two?) of SLR mounting clips, if anyone has some going spare in their archives?
Waiting to hear from you!
Regards,
Vince

Re: SLR mounting clips
They look to be powder coated black with a rectangle well base to locate the stock of the guns. A vertical shaft with a lever to open the recessed slot for the barrel of the guns. There is from memory a bracket arrangement that fixes them to the seat box base and rear bulkhead. Two separate units. Look like they are in excellent condition. They are at my Son's house as he bought the 110 from me. I will see what he wants for them and get some photographs of them if I can get my camera working . Phil

Re: SLR mounting clips
Hi just gave my Son a call regarding the gun clips and he says he was planning on listing them on ebay tomorrow. So have a look tomorrow and see what you think of them. They are robustly made. Location for pickup is the Crewe area junction 16 m6 or possibly south Birmingham Handsworth? area near the football stadium next door to Halfords as I am sure my Son in Law could take them to his business for collection. Or possibly post them on to you. Phil

Re: SLR mounting clips
They sound to me like the clips for stowing an SA80 rather than an SLR. These are the ones for an SLR (or SMG, or any other type of weapon, pretty much - useful also for rolls of maps etc etc!)aerialphil wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2019 8:48 pmThey look to be powder coated black with a rectangle well base to locate the stock of the guns. Re: SLR mounting clips
The clips are much smaller than shown in your photograph Fred. So you are most likely correct on this point. What I know about these items would fit on the back of a stamp.Have a look on ebay when he lists them, and I am sure you will know for sure, what they are made to carry. Phil

Re: SLR mounting clips
Yes, I also think they're SA 80 clips by the description... They would anyway be quite standard on a 110 (My 90 still has them, along with the holes for the SLR clips brackets that had been installed probably in its early service days, to which I want to revert...)aerialphil wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2019 8:48 pmThey look to be powder coated black with a rectangle well base to locate the stock of the guns. Thank you for the proposal though!
