Shaun
The only thing that beats a Howling Moon campsite is a proper canvas military set up , which I had up to last year and the missus told me to get rid of it all .
I have spent tooooo many hrs on my Sankey mate to canabalis it . It's still 100% original and untouched . My tent only sits on a sheet of ply that's strapped to the sides . I can move it anytime .its a trailer first and foremost .

First run of the season this Sunday sees LWT and Sankey take a run up to Knokhill racing circuit in Fife , across the fourth road bridge . It's a military open day with multiple vehicles on show , hopefully . A 250 mile round trip .
Just finished a tidy up and check of the Sankey and all seems ok . Pics of the event to follow .

One potential problem Iv noticed after a small clean up is the cracked and perished tyres. Obviously old, it’s clear they need replaced.
Can I fit 7.50s ,
will wolf wheels fit without modifications.

Iv have only just looked at the dates between both of the above pictures. It's 4 years since I posted those first refurbished pictures. Yes it's a WT but both the 110 and the LWT pull it without effort and no safety issues. 3/4" marine ply covers 2/3ds of the top leaving the tailgate access at the rear and open space at the front for all the kit you like. The tyres are shot but reading other historic posts on the forum it seems it's a matter of ones self choice between 7.50s or 6.50s. Although I do have new 7.50 spares I might actually go with the same 6.50 that's on. This will keep the centre of gravity down and the nose down angle up.
The long drive to pick the trailer up almost 5 yrs ago has given many awesome camping trips and military shows. So well worth it.

Here we go again. 4yrs since the first light restoration pics shown. Only some light surface rust, new light plinths, new tyres, blasted wheels, new paint and transfers. Another few days should do. Pics to follow.
