Just fitted my new Tax Disk that I grudgingly paid £205 for so I can leave it in the garage and cycle to work.
While I was in the garage I was eyeing up a sutible location to fit a Military angled torch into the cab, I've narrowed it down to either the passenger footwell opposite the fire extingisher or between the drivers seat and the door.
My main focus at the moment is to clean up some old series seat frames to replace all the box section, chequer plate and corrogated metal that a PO has used to bodge in the highback seats in my truck. Although they won't be standard Lightweight parts they are at least Series Land Rover parts so should look better than the current setup.

Now that's the spirit Clansman352! I love your landy 'grotto', its what I'd like my patio to look like
I'm ashamed to say I looked out the window at the landies on the drive waiting for some TLC, then looked at the rain and snow and went back inside again...roll on summer.
but...I did give the website a festive touch, to get me in the spirit for the jollies ahead.

Think a different approach is needed. i.e. have a moan about the foul weather forcast when a few drinks and BBQ planned. Mention the garden furniture is looking a little tired and the BBQ not quite the 'cool' one other folks seem to have. Lastly, would it not be great to be able to party outside with out the burgers being floated off and the chilled white wine being diluted with a down pour!Mal999 wrote:Andy thats a great parking area!! have approached the management here with the same idea and there was a negative response hence am sporting a newly aquired black eye!!!![]()

Then all you need to do is make sure the Landi will drive under it with ease
By the way, I built it my-self so the cost was not too at all.
Andy.
