Well after seeing how everyone else has gotten on today with all there big and challenging jobs, I thought you would like to know how I got on.

Well I put a new door top on the drivers side, and undid the nuts on the other side enough to apply some copperslip and re tightened them.

And even furtherer up North, the weather's been great all day. I did sod all to my Lightweight but did a 2km Parkrun with my girls then got the blasting / spraying / general Landy renovation shed completed.

Insulated, heated, 16A sockets for welder and 4hp compressor. Well it will be once the sparky comes round and terminates the buried cable at the house and shed consumer units.

Need a VAT free offer from Machine Mart so I can buy my new compressor.

Strip down time soon.
Cheers,
Gaz

Following on from weekends rear chassis strip down and painting, whilst still in paint mode I managed a tidy up of the duck egg block . The alternator has packed in so took the opportunity before the new one goes in .
Oh and there's still the job of removing that Brocken downpipe stud from the manifold.

Very smart.

Have managed to free up the pivot for the hand brake lever. Nice bit of brass in there...

Hi Sidders,
Yes ''twas me. Sorry I didn't make it to your stand though the urge was there... saw a good crowd.
Time was short and Had two kids to chaperone, 21 and 60 ..... yrs not months but behaving like the latter.
To compound I was in Discovery 1 and 110 hi cap parts mode but managed to bring home two glass lenses, a windscreen and toprail and an original user manual plus the kids, alpine windows, floor sections, tyres etc and a fairly empty pot.

Met Neil though. Hi Neil. Wish I had bought those hi milers.

Malvern maybe.
