COSSOR CGT 1052

Post by Gordon Bennett » Sun Jan 07, 2018 11:12 am

Hi,

Picked this up off eBay last week. It's been on and off eBay for the last 12 months at least.

It appears to be a 'Digital Message Handling Device'. Possibly used with the PRC 320 to bridge the gap in equipment between the PRC 316 with the AN/GRA-71 viewtopic.php?f=30&t=5975 and the PRC 319 viewtopic.php?f=30&t=5790.

In the PRC 319 AESP, there is a line drawing of something similar (see last picture). It has similar keys to the 319 EMU.

Has anyone ever come across one of these before?

When I get chance, i'll connect it to the 319 and see if it powers up.

Rgds,
Gordon

Good buy mate, seen this on and off the bay. Another good addition to the collection.

Hi Gordon,

It was designed for use with the 320, as you say to bridge the gap between the sets mentioned.
I've watched it on and off and have contemplated buying it but I'm pleased you've got it, good price too.
Hope it powers up ok.

Regards
Bob
