Clean up

Post by Jiml » Mon Oct 09, 2017 9:28 pm

Well I took off the reflected that the PO had painted over and found it not so easy to remove paint from the white or should I say off white rubber surround. Are there any suggestions on what I should use to clean them up from residual paint.

I had the same issue..believe it or not sand blasting is the only way...it discolours the whit pigment but does a good job of removing the paint flecks..on other occasions I've had to bin them and buy the hard plastic modern alternative...same thing just better material..sometimes you just have to say goodbye.
