Every dictator should have this app

Post by Tinweasel » Tue Feb 13, 2018 5:44 pm

Isn't it odd, the things people come up with. There is an app for your phone/tablet called Nukeblast that projects the likely outcome of a nuclear explosion (not taking account of the weather).

Simply chose the location on the map and select you desired nuclear payload from the easy to use drop down menu and there you go.

Think you've got too much time on your hands mate unless your planning on holidaying in Hawaii, Okinawa or Guam.

I always wonder about the EMP range. Everything is dependent on electronics so in this day and age it would be just as catistrofic.

If one goes off where the epicentre is shown on the map, I won't be needing to worry about the effects on my mobile signal.

A sadly my plans to wipe Milton Keynes, Luton and Dunstable and Biggleswade off the map would mean Bedford takes the initial hit. It's unfortunate but needs must I'm afraid.

Besides it felt weird centering it on my home town

Hiya Shaun! :D ,

I can see your reasons for wanting MK, L&D and Bedford to be wiped from the map, but what has poor little Biggleswade done to anyone?

Also a bit harsh that both Toddington (my lovely village) and Nobby’s chippy (round the corner from Neil’s and surely the finest eatery there is) get wiped off the map. I’m reluctant to agree about MK too - it’s handy for shopping and has an indoor ski centre.

Luton and Dunstable can &@%* right off though.

All I will say about Biggleswade is Kate Johnson!!

I used to go to the ski slope regularly, back in my boarding days, still not swayed. And yes Toddington would be another victim, on a plus point Populars nursery would also be gone, not only did they have that really annoying radio ad back in the 90's but it would also mean my other half can't drag me down there every other week!

If it helps my house is I'm an area that has a good chance of being flattened by the blast especially with the topography of the area being so flat that I don't have to walk far to see MK in the distance. It will also be a high fallout zone, so it's not all peachy for me.

Oh and I have looked up Nobby’s chippy on trip adviser....

Well thats a disappointment. It was great during the few weeks in the March of 2015 when we stayed in Bedford during the great move from North West to South East. I am sad to see it is no longer the proud deep-frying establishment it once was.
