So my 2a broke down a couple of months since and I think it’s the carb.
When I prime the fuel pump petrol leaks out of the top of the carb.
It’s a zenith copy bought new when I restored it.
Do I buy another copy one or do I buy a Weber carb?

Yeah I think a lot of work has gone into making it what it is, think it would be impractical to get it back to what it was

No a lot of work has gone into it, where would you start? Put it back to original or keep it as a securicor vehicle?

I think at the time it was easier to get a Q plate than trying to sort the year of manufacture out, I think there was also some other reason why it was better but can’t think of it off the top of my head. Very nice, done clutch’s on them before bit a a pain in the ass having to take the seats and interior out and it seems like the gearbox is held in by a thousand nuts and bolts........

Front standard rear depends where it’s going, mine is same as front cos it’s on the hinged panel that drops down.
