Carburettor woes

So my 2a broke down a couple of months since and I think it’s the carb.
When I prime the fuel pump petrol leaks out of the top of the carb.
It’s a zenith copy bought new when I restored it.
Do I buy another copy one or do I buy a Weber carb?

Re: This looks interesting

Yeah I think a lot of work has gone into making it what it is, think it would be impractical to get it back to what it was
Might do a bit of digging see if I can find anything else about it.

Re: This looks interesting

No a lot of work has gone into it, where would you start? Put it back to original or keep it as a securicor vehicle?

Re: Historic

I think at the time it was easier to get a Q plate than trying to sort the year of manufacture out, I think there was also some other reason why it was better but can’t think of it off the top of my head. My lightweight was on a Q plate I got a heritage certificate the b card and I did a freedom of ...

Johnny
Your lucky, it’s 4 hours and 50 mins for me!

Re: Lightweight Number plate sizes ??

Front standard rear depends where it’s going, mine is same as front cos it’s on the hinged panel that drops down.
Think if it’s going on the rear of the tub it’s a funny size?
