You almost certainly want LM603049/LM603011 (1.7812x3.0625x0.7813 inch) also used number GHB197, you can look up the latter numbers.
NSN was LV6MT7 3110-99-805-3264. It is a common part.
These were used on both front and rear, axles (inner and outer bearings).

If you vehicle is a 2A 12 volt then you have the correct type (562928) it just needs cutting back and rewelding. The battery cover (clamp) is 236986

Early 2A seen on eBay seems a good honest vehicle, fairly unmolested, apart from the later diesel engine. A vehicle ripe for restoration.

2617 0783 was Van General Service EW/Y FFR 3/4T 109 wb FFR RHD, so assume Electronic Warfare of some sort? Paint may be covering the EW/Y part.

FWIW Here is my take on it. Paperwork states 26 GJ 97 which was contract WV111916 (item 1) for 60 RHD FFR vehicles (1625 0778) These were Larkspur fitted only. The bodywork and wings clearly show It has been Larkspur FFR fitted which ties in with the contract, also it has been modified for Clansman ...

Do not buy those footwells they are the wrong type! Do a search instead on eBay for "Land Rover Lightweight footwells" there are a few different sellers. One strange thing your vehicle has been fitted with early wings and headlight panel (and rad) It should have the headlights in the wings...

Yes it should be fitted, this was a standard fitting on most later military LRs, the main reason though is to mount the filter unit on a FFR (along with the very handy bracket for the choke cable support clip). The part number is 568690. They were fitted on both GS and FFR vehicles.
